Open to all North State educators, Making Learning Connected is a summer 2014 program in conjunction with the Educator Innovator Connected Learning Massive Open Online Collaboration (#clmooc). Using the principles of Connected Learning, participants will meet once weekly to learn about and play with new literacy tools (often with a focus on making, with or without technology), make and share projects, and reflect on pedagogical applications. Each week will feature a hands-on project made during the session—the images above all come from last year’s participants. While anyone can participate in #clmooc from home, we invite teachers to come together for face-to-face learning, sharing, and (yes, we’ll say it) fun! Participants will build community with other educators from our region and across the nation (over 500 participants have signed up already!). Come to one session, or come to them all!
